Each Council member of Parkside Borough appointed hereafter or elected to office on or after November 6, 2001, shall receive compensation as a Council member in the annual amount of $1,875.
The Mayor of Parkside Borough appointed hereafter or elected to office on or after November 6, 2001, shall receive compensation as Mayor in the amount of $2,500.

Such compensation shall be paid in quarterly or monthly installments. It shall be the responsibility of the person due compensation to notify the Treasurer of Parkside Borough as to which payment cycle is to be used.

No elected official or public officer or employee shall disclose confidential information acquired in the course of his or her official duties concerning the property, government or affairs of the Borough; nor shall be or she use such information to advance financial or private interests of his or her own or the interests of others.
No officer or employee of the Borough shall knowingly defeat, deceive or obstruct any person in his/her right to examination, eligibility, certification or appointment or furnish to any person any special or confidential information for the purpose of affecting the rights or prospects of any person with respect to employment in the competitive service.
