Borough of Parkside, PA Article IV Private Driveways and Parking Areas

§ 176-22 Materials for private driveways and parking areas.

A. Private driveways and private parking areas in the Borough of Parkside shall have an impervious surface such as blacktop, macadam, concrete, etc., maintained without holes, cracks, deterioration or loose or broken material free of hazardous conditions. The use of loose stone, gravel, bricks, sand, clay, dirt and similar materials capable of migrating beyond the boundaries of the driveway or parking area is prohibited and shall be a violation of this section.

B. The parking of a motor vehicle on or the use of a private driveway or parking area not in compliance with this article shall be a violation.

§ 176-23 Violations and penalties.

Any person, persons, corporation or business violating § 176-22 of this chapter shall be subject to a fine not exceeding $100 plus the cost of prosecution for each violation. Each 24 hours of violation is a separate violation.
