As used in this ordinance, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
KNOWN PROSTITUTE OR PANDERER
A person who has, to the knowledge of the arresting officer,
been convicted of a violation of any ordinance of the City of Norwalk
on a statute of the State of Connecticut defining and punishing acts
of prostitution, patronizing a prostitute, promoting prostitution
or any other offense set forth in Chapter 952 of the Connecticut General
Statutes.
LOITERING
Remaining idle in essentially one place, and shall include
the concepts of spending time idly, loafing or walking about aimlessly.
PUBLIC PLACE
An area, either publicly owned or to which the public has
access.
SEXUAL ACTIVITY or SEXUAL CONDUCT
Acts of prostitution, patronizing a prostitute or promoting
prostitution as such acts are proscribed and defined by Chapter 952
of the Connecticut General Statutes, as these statutes hereafter shall
be amended.

Any person who violates this chapter shall be subject to a fine
not exceeding $1,000.
