The annexation of the City by the Central Jackson County Fire Protection District is hereby approved consistent with and pursuant to the July 29, 1981 Order of the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri, which order is hereby incorporated by reference herein.

All fire protection services in and for the City shall be provided by the Central Jackson County Fire Protection District.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this Article or the Code adopted herein shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in an amount not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) or be imprisoned in the City or County Jail for a period of not exceeding ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such hereunder.
