Appointment — Duties. The County Health Officer or his/her designated agent is hereby appointed the City Health Officer for the City and is authorized to perform all the duties of Health Officer as such duties shall be prescribed by ordinances.
Term — Compensation. The County Health Officer shall serve as the City Health Officer at the pleasure of the Board of Aldermen and without salary.

It shall be unlawful for any person to resist the free access of the City Health Officer, or other officer, or any of them, into any building or premises, upon request made by the City Health Officer for the purpose of examination.
