Unless duly authorized in writing, no person or vehicle shall be present within the bounds of the Boonville Cemetery 1/2 hour after sunset to 1/2 hour before sunrise.
All motor vehicles are excluded from the cemetery within the limits of the Village of Boonville unless authorized by the governing body of St. Joseph Cemetery and the Boonville Cemetery Association, Inc. Bicycles, minibikes, motorcycles and motor scooters are also excluded in operation in or upon the roadways within the cemetery limits.
It shall be unlawful for any person to destroy, deface, despoil, cut, mar, mark or otherwise willfully injure any tomb, tombstone, monument or other monuments of the dead, erected or being in the cemetery within the Village of Boonville.
It shall be unlawful for any person to cut, girdle, despoil, destroy or willfuly injure any tree, shrub, plant or flower standing or growing in said cemetery.
Any person violating any of the terms or provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $100 for a first violation, and not to exceed $200 for a second or subsequent violation, and shall also be required to pay for the repair or replacement of any damage or injury to any tomb, tombstone, monument, tree or plant. Vehicles left unattended within the bounds of said cemetery in violation of § 142-1, above, shall be removed, and the party leaving such unattended vehicle, or the owner thereof, shall pay the cost of removal of such vehicle.
