The following described and bounded tract of land in the Village of Boonville, Oneida County, New York, is hereby declared to be and shall hereafter constitute the fire limits in the said Village, to wit:
Commencing at the northwest corner of Eliza Scovil's (formerly) land, in the Town of Boonville, and running thence S. 2 deg. W. 3,718 feet to the center of the street designated as Ford Street; thence S. 18 deg. 24 min. E. 2,583 feet; thence S. 85 deg. 41 min. E. 8,419 feet, thence No. 2 deg. E. 3,742 feet; thence No. 88 deg. W. 3,333 feet; thence N. 2 deg. E. 2,761 feet to the N. E. corner of W. Tuttle's sawmill lot; thence N. 88 deg. W. 5,973 feet to the place of beginning. Containing 1,109.2 acres of land.
The above description is intended to describe the corporation limits of the Village of Boonville comprised of the original charter area of 1885 (852.4 acres) and the annexation area of 1959 (256.8 acres).
