Provisions, Art. I)]
No person, firm or corporation, except members of the Fire Company,

or the Department of Public Works, while performing their duty as
such, or any person lawfully extinguishing a fire, shall open or make
any connections, with hose or otherwise, with any fire hydrant or
other public hydrant in said Village without the written authority
of the Public Works Superintendent of said Village.
[Amended 12-29-1971]
It shall be unlawful for any person to hinder, obstruct, willfully
or intentionally, or offer any hindrance to any apparatus of the Fire

of his duty. It is also prohibited to block any fire lane in the Village
of Boonville.
Nothing contained in §

The firemen or policemen shall take charge of such lines, with full power to make arrests and prosecute any person violating this section.
