No person shall smoke or carry lighted cigarettes or other smoking
or vaping devices, including, but not limited to, cigars, pipes and
vaping devices, at the public parks and/or beaches owned or operated
by the Town of Rye.
The violation of any provisions of this chapter, except for a violation as described in § 10-3, shall be an offense against this chapter, which shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $250 or imprisonment for a period not exceeding 10 days for each offense, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
