A code regulating sanitation in retail food establishments and food and beverage vending machines; authorizing inspection of retail food establishments, vending machines and operations connected therewith; and fixing penalties for violations is hereby established pursuant to N.J.S.A. 26:3-69.1 to 69.6, as amended, supplemented and in effect. A copy of said code is annexed hereto and made a part hereof without the inclusion of the text thereof herein.
The said code established and adopted by this chapter is described and commonly known as the "Sanitation in Retail Food Establishments and Food and Beverage Vending Machines." (N.J.A.C. 8:24)
A copy of the "Sanitation in Retail Food Establishments and Food and Beverage Vending Machine Code of New Jersey" has been placed on file in the office of the Secretary of the Board of Health and shall remain on file for the use and examination of the public.
In addition to remedies provided by law, any person who violates any provision of or order promulgated under this chapter or code established herein shall, upon conviction thereof, be liable to a penalty as stated in Chapter III, Section 111-2B. Each day a particular violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.

The fees for licensure of retail food establishments are hereby fixed as follows:

The fees for licensure of vending machines are hereby fixed as follows:

Permit fee $35.00
(2) 
License fee $15.00 per machine, per year

All permits and licenses issued under the authority of this chapter shall expire on the 31st day of December each year.

Permit and license fees shall be paid to the Borough of North Caldwell.
