Borough of Wildwood Crest, NJ Article III Limiting the Use of Streets to Certain Classes of Vehicles

§ 79-9 Route for trucks and buses over four tons.

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:67-16.1 and N.J.S.A. 39:4-197(1)b, the streets or parts of streets as described in § 79-36, Schedule V, annexed hereto and incorporated herein as a part of this article and section by this reference thereto, are hereby designated as the routes for trucks and buses over four tons. All trucks and buses having a total combined gross weight of the vehicle plus its load in excess of four tons shall be excluded from all streets except those streets which are designated as routes for trucks and buses over four tons by § 79-36, Schedule V, of this ordinance.

§ 79-10 Exclusions.

Any buses which have been specifically assigned the right by any state agency to utilize a particular route of travel through the Borough of Wildwood Crest, other than that provided by §§ 79-9 and 79-36 hereof, shall be excluded from the provisions of this chapter.
