City of Corning, NY Article II On-Site Cannabis Consumption Sites Opt-Out

§ 91-3 Legislative intent.

It is the intent of this article to opt the City of Corning out of hosting on-site cannabis consumption sites within its boundaries.

§ 91-4 Statutory authority.

This article is adopted pursuant to Cannabis Law § 131, which expressly authorizes cities, towns, and villages to opt out of allowing on-site cannabis consumption sites to locate and operate within their boundaries.

§ 91-5 On-site consumption cannabis sites opt-out.

The City Council hereby opts out of allowing on-site cannabis consumption sites from locating and operating within the boundaries of the City of the Corning, and they are hereby prohibited.
