Pursuant to Vehicle and Traffic Law § 1640-a and upon the written request of the person in general charge of the operation and control of the parking areas of the housing complex known as "Dayspring I" and "Dayspring II," located at 220 Tioga Avenue and 101 Columbia Street, respectively, it shall be unlawful to stand or park a vehicle in the designated and posted areas commonly referred to as "fire lanes," at the front entrance of the Dayspring I Apartments, located at 101 Columbia Street, and at the front entrance of Dayspring II, located at 220 Tioga Avenue; and, further, pursuant to § 1100 of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law, police may enforce such prohibitions.
