A. 
Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine or penalty not to exceed $500, and not less than $2 for each offense. Each day or part thereof during which such violations shall continue shall constitute a separate offense.
B. 
Any person who shall neglect or refuse to pay any fine imposed in accordance with the preceding subsection shall he subject to imprisonment in the county jail for a period not to exceed 90 days. Any person who shall have been twice convicted within the space of six months of having violated this Code may, in addition to the imposition of the penalty prescribed in Subsection A, be imprisoned in the county jail for any number of days not exceeding one for each dollar of the penalty.
