No person other than a member of the Fire Department
of the Village or other person duly authorized by the Board of Trustees
in the performance of his duty shall open, use or tamper with a fire
hydrant.
No person shall in any manner obstruct the use
of any fire hydrant or allow any snow or ice, dirt or other material
to be thrown upon or piled upon or around the same or place or allow
to be placed any material or thing in front thereof from the curbline
to the center of the street and to within 10 feet from either side
thereof.
No person shall willfully raise, create or continue
a false alarm of fire, or aid, abet or assist in raising, creating
or continuing such a false alarm, or shall willfully tamper, meddle
or interfere with any station or signal box of any police alarm, fire
alarm, telegraph system or any auxiliary fire or police appliance,
or shall willfully break, injure, deface or remove any such box or
station, or shall willfully break, injure, destroy or disturb any
of the wires, poles or other supports of the fire alarm, telegraph
or police alarm system or any auxiliary fire or police appliance of
the Village of Floral Park.
No person shall willfully molest, interfere
with or damage any fire alarm or any apparatus of the Fire Department.
The officer of the Fire Department in charge
at any fire shall be in control and in full charge of the conduct
of persons at or near the vicinity of the fire and shall be authorized,
among other things, to make any reasonable regulation as to the conduct
of persons thereat and the passage of vehicles through streets in
the vicinity thereof, and any person or persons willfully refusing
to obey any reasonable order or instruction by a member of the Fire
Department or officer in charge at or in the vicinity of a fire shall
be subject to a penalty as hereinafter provided.
The officer of the Fire Department at the scene of a fire shall establish fire lines, and it shall be the duty of the police at or in the vicinity of said fire to enforce said fire lines. Any person crossing such fire lines so established shall be liable to a fine of not more than $10 for each offense and shall be declared to be a disorderly person in accordance with the provisions of §
32-1 of Chapter
32 hereof.
Upon sound or signal by the siren, bell, horn
or direction of a police officer or otherwise indicating the approach
of fire apparatus, all traffic in the highway shall move to the right-hand
curb as promptly as possible and remain stationary until such fire
apparatus has passed, and the driver or operator of any vehicle failing
to obey this regulation shall be subject to the penalty hereinafter
provided.

Any person violating any provision of this article shall be liable for and forfeit and pay a penalty as provided in §
32-13 of Chapter
32 hereof. Said violation shall constitute and is hereby declared to be disorderly conduct, and any person violating this article or any provisions thereof shall be and hereby is declared a disorderly person as provided in §
32-1 of Chapter
32 hereof.
