[HISTORY: Adopted by the Floral Park Village Board 5-3-1994

There is hereby established the position of New Resident Coordinator
of the Incorporated Village of Floral Park. The New Resident Coordinator shall
be appointed by the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Trustees, and
shall serve for a one-year term.
The New Resident Coordinator shall collect and disseminate relevant
information regarding village operations and services, along with profile
information of private organizations serving in the village; shall update
the organization contact list annually; shall provide suggestions to the Village
Board of Trustees on items of concern and interest to new residents; and shall
coordinate the preparation of any new residents' booklet or communications,
which shall be published only upon approval by the Mayor and Board of Trustees.
For purposes of this local law, new residents shall also be deemed to include
any commercial or business use in the village.
