The property bounded on the west by Carnation
Avenue, on the east by South Tyson Avenue Extension, on the south
by Atlantic Avenue and Atlantic Avenue Extension, and on the north
by Caroline Place and South Tyson Avenue, except so much thereof as
constitutes the right-of-way of Tulip Avenue, is hereby designated
as the Resident Commuters' Municipal Parking Field wherein the parking
of vehicles shall be permitted only in accordance with the provisions
of this ordinance.
No vehicle shall be parked or permitted to stand
in any part of the aforementioned Resident Commuters' Municipal Parking
Field between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through
Friday without first obtaining a license to park in such field from
the Village Clerk as hereinafter provided.

All such licenses to park shall be issued by
the Village Clerk, subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees,
in accordance with the applications and forms therefor approved by
the Board of Trustees, and all vehicles for which such licenses shall
be issued shall have conspicuously displayed thereon as directed on
the license a distinctive decal or license plate or tag issued by
the Village Clerk bearing the number of such license and the year
for which the same shall be issued. The annual fee for such license
shall be established by resolution of the Board of Trustees. Such
fee shall be paid to the Village Clerk before the issuance of such
license. No such license shall be transferable from one owner to another
or from one vehicle to another without the approval of the Board of
Trustees and the endorsement of such approval in writing on such license
by the Village Clerk.
No such license shall be issued to any person,
firm or corporation or to any other entity except to a person who
is a resident of the Incorporated Village of Floral Park, New York,
as evidenced by the registration certificate of the vehicle for which
the license is sought.
No license shall be required for parking in
such Resident Commuters' Municipal Parking Field between the hours
of 5:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m., nor on Saturdays or Sundays.
No parking, with or without a license, is permitted
in such Resident Commuters' Municipal Parking Field between the hours
of 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on any day.
No trailers or commercial vehicles shall park
in the Resident Commuters' Municipal Parking Field.
Each motor vehicle using the Resident Commuters'
Municipal Parking Field shall have an individual parking license.
The hours during which a license is required
and the hours of prohibited parking shall be appropriately posted
on signs in the said parking field.
Vehicles parked more than 24 consecutive hours
in the Resident Commuters' Municipal Parking Field may be ordered
removed by the Commissioner of Police, and the cost thereof and for
the storage of such vehicle shall be paid to the Village by the owner
of such vehicle, except that at the option of the Commissioner of
Police, the cost of removing such vehicle may be paid by the owner
of such vehicle directly to the company that removed the vehicle.
