A. 
Permitted uses. The following uses are permitted in the B-1 District:
(1) 
Retail stores (other than a retail store which prepares, stores or sells food).
(2) 
Travel agency.
(3) 
Real estate office.
(4) 
Retail insurance office.
(5) 
Hairdresser, beauty salon.
(6) 
Barbershop.
(7) 
Nail salon.
(8) 
Shoe repair shop.
(9) 
Dry cleaner.
(10) 
Dressmaker, seamstress, tailor shop.
(11) 
Retail laundry.
(12) 
One-family residence units on second floor only.
(13) 
Office under 1,500 square feet of gross floor area.
B. 
Special uses. A building may be erected, altered or used for any purpose set forth in this subsection only when authorized by the Board of Trustees as a special use after a public hearing conducted by the Board of Trustees and for no other:
(1) 
Restaurant, diner, tavern, bar and grill.
(2) 
Retail store which prepares, stores or sells food.
(3) 
Office with a gross floor area of 1,500 square feet or more.
(4) 
Bank, financial institution.
(5) 
Places of public assembly intended for less than 20 persons assembling for recreational purposes or educational classes for not more than one scheduled event at a time.

Auto accessories and parts store with indoor installation only.

Senior citizen multifamily residence.

Used car lot.
(2) 
Auto body or fender work.
(3) 
Building materials storage and sales.
(4) 
Carpentry, electrical, machine, plumbing and heating, tinsmith.
(5) 
Animal hospital, veterinary office.
(6) 
Light manufacturing or assembly.
(7) 
Gasoline station or repair garage.
(8) 
Any nonresidential use permitted as of right or as a special use in the B-1 or B-2 Districts.
