Township parks and recreational facilities shall
be open daily between 7:00 a.m. and sundown for use by the general
public unless closed by order of the Department of Parks and Recreation.
The Department of Parks and Recreation may approve and schedule the
use of parks and recreational facilities for nighttime use in its
discretion. The Department of Parks and Recreation may, in its discretion,
close any Township park or recreational facilities for public use
when weather, water, fire or other unforeseeable conditions arise
or when renovation, repairs or other maintenance situations so require.

The Department of Parks and Recreation shall
establish procedures to govern the scheduling of park and/or recreational
facilities for group use. Whenever said parks or facilities are not
reserved for group use, they shall be open to the general public.
Recreational fires may only be built in designated
areas, and said fires must be continually monitored and extinguished
prior to leaving the site.
All trash, garbage, litter, refuse, rubbish
and ashes must be deposited in the receptacles provided or removed
from the park.
All pets must be on a leash no greater than
six feet in length.

All rules and regulations included in this chapter
and as may be established hereafter shall be posted in a conspicuous
place or places in each park to which they are applicable.

Any person or persons violating the provisions
of this chapter, upon conviction before a District Justice, shall
pay a fine of not more than $600, plus costs of prosecution, for each
offense and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, shall be
imprisoned in the county jail for a period of time not to exceed 30
days.
