As used in this article, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
COMMERCIAL USAGE
Retail store or stores, restaurants, offices, agency or studio,
bank, personal service, craftsmen, public garage, service stations,
automobile sales agencies and similar type uses.
OWNER
Any individual, firm, association, copartnership, corporation
or any legal entity having sufficient proprietary interest in the
land used for commercial purposes.
STREET
A way for vehicular traffic, accepted or dedicated to the
Township of Bristol, but shall not include state highways.
All curbs shall be constructed in accordance
with the specifications attached to this article and made a part thereof.
Before the construction of any curbs in accordance
with this article, plans for the curbs, showing the location of the
opening shall be submitted to the Township Engineer for his approval.
The plans shall show the location of the buildings in reference to
the street and shall show the location of the curb openings.

Any person who shall violate any provision of
this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine
not to exceed $1,000, plus costs of prosecution, and, in default thereof
shall be imprisoned for a term not to exceed 30 days. The imposition
of a fine or penalty for any violation of this article will not excuse
the violation or permit its continuance, and the violator shall be
required to remedy such violation upon notice to do so. Each day that
a violation continues shall be considered a separate offense.

The Township, in addition to any penalties provided
by this article, after affording property owners 30 days' notice,
by registered mail, that they are required to install the curbs on
Township streets and state highways, in accordance with this article,
shall have the right to install the curbs and to assess the cost thereof
against the owners of the property and to collect the same as like
fines and penalties are collectible by law.
