Historical Notes:
The 3-6-1962 Town Meeting accepted the provisions of Acts
of 1960, c. 737, § 2, which added MGL c. 143, § 3,
Subsection O, providing for the position of Inspector of Gas Piping
and Gas Appliances to be established by bylaw, vote or ordinance and
setting forth that position's powers and duties.]

The Select Board shall annually appoint an Inspector of Gas
Piping and Gas Appliances in Buildings, in accordance with the provisions
of Chapter 737 of the Acts of 1960 (MGL c. 143, § 3, Subsection
O).
