No person shall park or leave unattended a vehicle
on private property without the consent of the owner or other person
in control or possession of the property, except in the case of emergency
or disablement of the vehicle, in which case the operator shall arrange
for the removal of the vehicle as soon as possible.

In all such spaces on public and private property
which have been reserved for a handicapped person or severely disabled
veteran and have been properly marked, it shall be unlawful for any
person, except for persons parking vehicles lawfully bearing a handicapped
or severely disabled veteran registration plate or displaying a handicapped
or severely disabled veteran parking placard when such vehicles are
being operated by or for the transportation of a handicapped person
or a severely disabled veteran, to use such spaces or zones.

A.
It shall be the duty of the police officers of the
Township, acting in accordance with the instructions of the Chief
of Police, to report:
(1)
That the vehicle is parked in violation of any provision
of this article;
(2)
The date and hour of such violation;
(3)
The state and license number of such vehicle; and
(4)
Any other facts, the knowledge of which shall be necessary
for a thorough understanding of the circumstances attending the violation.
B.
Each such police officer shall place upon such vehicle a notice to the owner or operator thereof that such vehicle was parked in violation of the provisions of this article and instructing such owner or operator that, if he shall report to the Police Headquarters of the Township of Limerick and pay, for the use of the Township, the sum of $20 within 72 hours after the time of such notice, the same shall save such violator from prosecution and from payment of the fine and costs hereinafter provided. The failure of said owner or operator to make the payment of $20, as herein provided, at the Police Headquarters of the Township of Limerick shall then render such owner or operator subject to the penalties hereinafter provided in § 170-27 for such violation of the provisions of this article.

For any person violating any of the provisions of the article who has failed to pay the fine as described in § 170-26 above, the Limerick Township Police Department shall file a summary traffic citation at District Court No. 38-01-19 for each and every such violation, and, upon conviction of said violation or violations, the violator shall pay a fine of not less than $35 not more than $50, plus additional costs of prosecution and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to undergo imprisonment for not more than 10 days.
