Before entering upon the discharge
of his/her duties, the Chief of Police will take an oath to faithfully
discharge the duties of his/her office.

It shall be the duty of the Chief
of Police and all other Police Officers to promptly execute and return
all processes and orders arising under law and ordinances of this
City, and within such limits as may be fixed by law or ordinances
of the City, to execute and return all orders, notices, writs or processes
and to perform all duties that may be imposed by laws or ordinances.

The Chief of Police shall have a
badge of office. He/she shall wear or have in his/her possession such
badge while on duty.
