A joint action ordinance of the Board of Supervisors of Winnebago County providing for a county-municipal joint action emergency government plan of organization was adopted by said County Board on the 19th of May, 1981. Said county ordinance is hereby ratified and accepted by the Village of Fox Crossing, County of Winnebago.
The ratification and acceptance of the joint action ordinance shall constitute a mutual agreement between the Village of Fox Crossing and Winnebago County as provided in said joint action ordinance, in accordance with Ch. 323, Wis. Stats.
The County-Municipal Emergency Management Director, appointed and employed by the Winnebago County Board as provided in § 6.04 of said joint action ordinance, is hereby designated and appointed Emergency Management Director for the Village of Fox Crossing, subject to the conditions and provisions as set forth in the Wisconsin Statutes and the Winnebago County joint action ordinance.
The Municipal Deputy Emergency Management Director shall have specific rights, obligations and duties as outlined in the Village of Fox Crossing Municipal and Winnebago County Emergency Operations Plans. The Village of Fox Crossing Deputy Emergency Management Director shall be the Village Fire Chief. In the absence of the Fire Chief, the Village Chief of Police shall serve as the Deputy Emergency Management Director. The second alternate shall be the Assistant Fire Chief.
