N.J.S.A. 40:8A-3 et seq. authorizes municipalities to enter into a contract for the exchange of interlocal services pursuant to the provisions of the statute known as the "Interlocal Services Act."
The Township Committee has determined it is in the best interest of the municipality to enter into a contract to provide an interlocal shared services agreement for certain Construction Department services within the Township of Middle with the Township of Dennis; and
By entering into an interlocal shared services agreement, the Township of Dennis can provide this necessary service in the most cost efficient and effective manner.
The Township of Dennis is hereby authorized and empowered to enter into an Interlocal Shared Services Contract with the Township of Middle pursuant to the provisions of the Interlocal Services Act, N.J.S.A. 40:8A-1 et seq., to provide for certain Construction Department services.
The Interlocal Shared Services Contract authorized in Section 29-2 hereof shall cover those services enumerated in said contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as an exhibit.[1]

The appropriate officers of the Township of Dennis are hereby authorized and directed to execute an Interlocal Shared Services Agreement with the Township of Middle for the exchange of said services as set forth herein, effective on such a date as prescribed by the terms of the statute.
The Interlocal Shared Services Contract between the Township of Middle and the Township of Dennis shall meet and satisfy the requirements of N.J.S.A. 40:8A-6.
This Article authorizes such Interlocal Shared Services Contract for a term which will expire December 31, 2009.

The Township of Dennis is hereby authorized and empowered to enter into an Interlocal Services Contract with the Township of Middle pursuant to the provisions of the Interlocal Services Act, N.J.S.A. 40:8A-1 et seq., to provide for dispatching services.
The Interlocal Services Contract authorized in Section 29-8 hereof shall cover those services enumerated in said contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as an exhibit.[1]
