There shall be a Schedule of Fees and Fines for any violation
of this Code of Ordinances, including any citations issued pursuant
to § 7-152c of the Connecticut General Statutes, as amended.
The Select Board is hereby authorized to set an initial schedule of
fines and fees for any ordinance which does not specify an appropriate
fine or fee, and the Select Board is further authorized to review
and modify the list of fees and fines in the December immediately
following each municipal election. Such fines and fees may be modified
by two-thirds vote of the Select Board or appropriate Town board or
commission authorized by state statute. The initial fee or fine and
any subsequent changes shall be filed in the Code of Ordinances.
