[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Waterford 10-9-1985 by L.L. No. 5-1985. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Town of Waterford, in which the Village of Waterford is wholly situated, has proposed to establish a Town improvement district for the special purpose of funding, on a Town-wide basis, ambulance services in the Town of Waterford and has proposed to extend such improvement district into and within the territorial limits of the Village of Waterford. It is hereby determined that the extension of such Town improvement district into the Village of Waterford will be in the public interest and will benefit all the property and property owners within the village and that inclusion of the village in such Town-wide district will be the most equitable, efficient and cost-effective method of providing funding for such necessary ambulance services.
The Village of Waterford hereby consents to the establishment and extension of the proposed Ambulance District of the Town of Waterford into the Village of Waterford.
