This chapter shall be called the "Driveway Installation Law of the Village
of Waterford."
Prior to the construction of any driveway where such driveway leads
to a road owned or to be dedicated to the Village of Waterford, an application
for a driveway permit must be made to the Zoning Commissioner. The fee for
such permit shall be determined by the Village Board of Trustees by resolution
from time to time.
All applications for construction of driveways shall be referred to
the Planning Board. No permit shall be issued until the application is approved
by the Planning Board. The Planning Board may grant or deny the application
and determine what conditions, if any, should be imposed on the construction
of the driveway if the permit is granted.
If the Planning Board approves the issuance of the permit, the Zoning
Inspector shall issue the permit to the applicant. Such permit shall incorporate
any conditions imposed by the Planning Board.
Any driveway constructed in the Village shall comply with the requirements of §
102-5 and any other conditions imposed by the Planning Board. Any driveway for which no permit is issued, which is constructed in violation of this chapter or conditions imposed by the Planning Board, shall be removed at the expense of the owner of the property on which it is located.
