Except as may be permitted in writing by the Board of Trustees upon specific application, the following uses shall be prohibited in all village parks:
A. 
Alms and contributions. No person shall solicit alms or contributions for any purpose.
B. 
Animals. No person owning or being custodian of or having control of any animal shall cause or permit such animal to enter a park, other than those animals necessary for the assistance of and which are being used by a disabled person. Any animal found at large may be impounded.

C. 
Bicycles. No bicycle riding shall be permitted in any park. For purposes of this chapter, the term "bicycle" shall mean a vehicle propelled by the person riding the same by foot or hand power or by a helper motor having capacity of less than 50 cubic centimeters' piston displacement and rated not more than two brake horsepower and equipped with automatic transmission and operable pedals.

D. 
Games. No person shall throw, cast, catch, kick or strike any baseball, football, basketball, frisbee or any other object.
E. 
Skating, skiing and sleds. No person shall use roller skates, skis, sleds or any vehicle on wheels or runners in any park. For purposes of this chapter, the term "roller skates" shall mean any recreational device consisting of two wheeled platforms, whether or not permanently affixed to a pair of shoes or boots, and regardless of the configuration of the wheels thereon, designed to be worn on the user's feet and used to propel the user in a manner similar to ice skates.

F. 
Alcoholic beverages. No person shall bring beer or other alcoholic beverages into a park.
G. 
Protection of park property. No person shall remove, destroy, deface or disturb any sign, flag, plaque, display, decorative light bulb or wiring, watering equipment, speaker or sound equipment, brick walkways, planters, flower boxes, fencing, barricades, memorial or monument in the park.

H. 
Glass and bottles. No person shall bring any bottles or other glassware into any park.
I. 
Walls, benches and other structures. No person shall climb, run or lie upon any wall, fence, bench, sign, tree, light post, planting bed, planter, flower box, shelter, watering system, trash receptacle or other structure.

J. 
Advertising. No person shall post, paint, affix, distribute, hand out, deliver, place, cast or leave about any bill, placard, ticket, handbill, circular or advertisement; display any flag, banner, sign, placard or any other matter for advertising purposes; or operate or use any musical instrument or drum or cause any noise to be made for advertising purposes or for the purpose of attracting attention to any exhibition, performance, show or other purpose.
K. 
Selling, peddling and soliciting. No person shall sell or offer for sale, hire, lease or let out or solicit for sale, hire, lease or let out any object or merchandise or any other thing or service.
L. 
Meetings, exhibitions, parades, etc. No person shall erect any structure, stand or platform, hold any meeting, perform any ceremony, make a speech, address or harangue; exhibit any dramatic performance or show of any kind; or conduct any parade, drill or maneuver.
M. 
Picnics and outings. No picnic or outing shall be conducted in a park.
N. 
Camping, tents or other structures. No camp, tent, shelter, lean-to or structure of any kind, including the conventional beach umbrella, shall be erected or maintained in a park.
O. 
Toy aviation, kite-flying and model automobiles. No person shall engage in toy or model aviation, kite-flying or model automobiling.
P. 
Noise. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or permit to be operated, whether mobile, stationary or otherwise, any band, loudspeaker apparatus, sound system, talking machine, public address system, musical instrument or other sound-producing device. It shall be unlawful to disturb the peace by the making of any unnecessary noise at a volume so as to disturb the comfort and repose of other persons using the park or residing nearby.
Q. 
Garbage. No person shall deposit or abandon any garbage, sewage, refuse, trash, grass clippings, branches, leaves or other waste material except in receptacles provided for such purpose. No person shall deposit or abandon any material which may be hazardous to public health or safety.

R. 
Stones and golf balls. No person shall hit, toss, throw or kick any stones, golf balls or other projectile.

S. 
Fires and grills. No person shall kindle, build, maintain or use a fire or grill.

T. 
Explosives, fireworks and firearms. No person shall fire, discharge or have in his/her possession in a park any gun, pistol, firearm, slingshot, rocket, torpedo or other fireworks or explosives of any kind.

U. 
Gambling. No person shall engage in gambling or wagering on games of chance.

V. 
Plants and wild animals. No person shall trim, cut down, dig up, remove, injure or destroy any tree, shrub, plant, flower or wild animal.

W. 
Large group events. No picnic, field day, carnival, concert, address, rally, dramatic presentation or the like at which more than 15 persons are in attendance shall be held or conducted in any park.

X. 
Rules and regulations. No person shall disobey an order of a police officer or other supervisory persons designated by the Board of Trustees or disobey the notices, prohibitions, instructions, directions or rules and regulations on any park sign or as shall be set by the Board of Trustees from time to time.
