A. 
All gunning, hunting with guns of any description or other deadly weapons, and all use or discharge of any shotgun, rifle, pistol or other firearm, or use of any deadly weapon or explosive in any manner whatsoever are hereby prohibited within the limits of the Borough, excepting, however, the use and discharge of firearms or other weapons or explosives by legally constituted police officers in the discharge of their duties and by persons acting in the defense of their life or property or the life or property of other persons, and excepting also such legal use of explosives as may be required in any construction work of whatsoever nature.
B. 
This section shall not be construed as prohibiting the discharge of firearms on a supervised rifle or pistol range which has been approved by the Chairman of Police and Fire and the operation of which as a special exception use has been authorized, after public hearing, by the Zoning Hearing Board under the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance.

Any person violating the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $500 and costs of prosecution or, upon default in payment of the fine and costs, by imprisonment in the county prison for not more than 30 days.

It shall be unlawful and it is hereby prohibited for any person, persons, firms or corporations to store, sell, offer or expose for sale or have in their possession with intent to sell or with intent to use or to use within the limits of the Borough of Glenolden any air rifle, air gun, air pistol, spring gun or any implement which impels with force a pellet of any kind.
The Department of Police is hereby authorized to seize, remove and destroy any air rifle, air gun, air pistol, spring gun or any implement which impels with force a pellet of any kind which shall be used or discharged within the Borough of Glenolden or which shall be held and possessed in violation of this article.
