It shall be unlawful for any person, copartnership, association or corporation within the Borough of Glenolden, from the date of the approval of this chapter, to sell, expose or offer for sale; discharge or fire, use or set off or explode any rocket, torpedo, roman candle, squib, firecrackers, sparkler or other fireworks of any kind, or any substance or explosive intended for pyrotechnic display, without first obtaining a permit in writing from the Mayor or other designated officer.

Any person, copartnership, association or corporation that shall violate the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof under summary proceedings instituted before a District Justice, be sentenced to pay a fine not exceeding $100 or, upon default in payment of the fine and costs of prosecution, to be imprisoned in the county prison not more than 30 days.
