Wastewater and sanitary sewage only shall be drained into the sewer system of the Borough of Prospect Park.[1]

Editor's Note: An agreement entered into on 5-6-1926 between the Borough of Hawthorne, the Borough of Prospect Park and the Van Buiten Hulsebos Realty Company provides for an annual payment by the Borough of Hawthorne to the Borough of Prospect Park to cover the cost of sewer service provided by the Borough of Prospect Park for certain residents of the Borough of Hawthorne.

No drain or rainwater or leader pipes to which surface water or rainwater is carried off shall be connected with, nor shall any drainage from a swimming pool be allowed to run into, directly or indirectly, the sewer system of the Borough of Prospect Park.

Any person, persons or corporation violating this chapter or any section thereof shall, upon conviction thereof, forfeit and be liable to the provisions stated in Chapter 1, Article II, General Penalty.
