The provisions of Chapter 8 of New Jersey Sanitary Code, particularly N.J.A.C. 8:27-1, et seq., entitled "Body Art Procedures," shall be applicable to the Borough of Prospect Park.
The number of licenses in the Borough of Prospect Park shall be limited to one for every 10,000 of its population as shown by the last then preceding federal census. For this purpose, no part of 10,000 shall suffice to warrant an additional license.
The following fees shall be charged in connection with any application made pursuant to § 371-1:
A. 
Annual licensing inspection for establishment performing tattooing or permanent cosmetics: $1,000.
B. 
Annual licensing for artist performing tattooing and permanent cosmetics: $200.
C. 
Annual licensing for apprentice performing tattooing or permanent cosmetics: $100.
D. 
No temporary establishment license will be issued.
A. 
An amount not less than $100 nor more than $1,000 for each violation of this chapter shall be payable to the Borough of Prospect Park. Each day that the violation exists is considered to be a separate offense.
B. 
Reasonable counsel fees incurred by the Board of Health or the Borough in the enforcement of this chapter shall be paid by the defendant. The amount of such reimbursement fees and costs shall be determined by the court hearing the matter.
C. 
After due notice and hearing, the Board may suspend or revoke any license issued under this chapter for violation of the provisions of this chapter.
