B. 
This section shall be in effect from April 1 to December 15 of each calendar year.
A. 
Police officers and parking enforcement personnel of the Borough, acting in accordance with the directions of the Chief of Police, shall report:
(1) 
The location of the vehicle;
(2) 
The license number of the vehicle;
(3) 
The date and hour of the violation; and
(4) 
Any other facts, the knowledge of which is necessary for a thorough understanding of the circumstances attending the violation.
B. 
The officer shall place a notice of violation on the vehicle.
The notice of violation described in § 285-86 shall instruct the owner or driver of the vehicle that if he or she reports to the office of the Chief of Police and pays, for the use of the Borough, the sum of $3 within 48 hours after the time of the notice, or places the sum of $3, within the envelope provided, in any of the special parking fine boxes installed at various locations within the Borough within that time limit, that act will save the violator from prosecution and from payment of the fine prescribed in § 285-88.
Whoever violates any of the provisions of this article shall be fined not more than $10 and costs.
