A. 
The wards and polling places of the Village shall be established by resolution of the Village Board and on file in the office of the Village Clerk.
B. 
Polling places in the Village shall be open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on each day an election is held in the Village.
The Village Board hereby requires registration of all voters in Village elections under the provisions of §§ 6.27 through 6.57, Wis. Stats.
A. 
Number. There shall be not fewer than three election inspectors per shift at each polling place where elections are conducted.
B. 
Appointment. Appointment of inspectors shall be in the manner provided by Wisconsin law.
C. 
Time. There shall be two shifts of inspectors scheduled at such times as the Village Clerk deems appropriate.
D. 
Staffing. The Village Clerk shall determine in advance of each election the number of inspectors to be scheduled for each shift, which determination shall depend on the number of contests on the ballot, the degree of interest in the election, and the apparent likelihood of a large percentage of voter participation.
Pursuant to §§ 7.53(2m) and 7.52, Wis. Stats., there is hereby established a Municipal Board of Absentee Canvassers, which is authorized to conduct centralized counting of absentee ballots on election days as follows:
A. 
The Municipal Board of Absentee Canvassers shall be composed of the Municipal Clerk, or a qualified elector of the municipality designated by the Clerk, and two other qualified electors of the municipality appointed by the Clerk for the 2017 General Election and then for a term of two years commencing on January 1 of each odd-numbered year thereafter. The Clerk may appoint additional inspectors under § 7.30(2)(a), Wis. Stats., to assist the Municipal Board of Absentee Canvassers in canvassing absentee ballots under this section.
B. 
In lieu of canvassing absentee ballots at polling places under § 6.88, Wis. Stats., when so directed by the Clerk, the Municipal Board of Absentee Canvassers may canvass all absentee ballots at elections held in the municipality at a location to be determined by the Clerk.
C. 
The Municipal Clerk shall give at least 48 hours' notice of any meeting of the Municipal Board of Absentee Canvassers under this section, which notice shall specify the location of the canvass of the absentee ballots.
D. 
No later than the closing hour of the polls, the Clerk shall post at his or her office and on the Internet at a site announced by the Clerk before the polls open, a statement of the number of absentee ballots that the Clerk has mailed or transmitted to electors and that have been returned by the closing hour on election day. In addition, the Clerk shall make such a statement available to any person upon request.
