The provisions of the New Jersey State Housing Code shall be
enforced. The code has been adopted by the board and is hereby incorporated
by reference.

No person shall conduct or maintain a hotel, lodging house or
boarding house without first having obtained from the board a license.

The application for a license shall be made in writing on forms
supplied by the board and signed by the applicant.

No license to conduct or maintain a boarding house, lodging
house or hotel shall be issued until the premises have been inspected
and approved for such by the health officer.

The registers of every boarding house, lodging house and hotel
shall be made available to the health officer upon request and shall
contain such information as may be requested by the board.
