The position of Code Enforcement Officer is herein created and such position shall be considered as an "employee" and not an appointed officer. Should the City determine it is proper to fill the position of Code Enforcement Officer, any person holding this position shall have the authority to investigate suspected violations of Chapters 210, 225, 230, 235, and 245 of this Code, or other similar Sections. Subject to constitutional limitations, the Code Enforcement Officer is authorized to enter upon any premises in the City where there are suspected violations of Chapter 210, 225, 230, 235, 245, or other similar Sections, for the purposes of investigating suspected violations.
