The sewer rates set forth in this article are applicable for all classes and users within the City of Cape May.
[Amended 3-2-2010 by Ord. No. 202-2010]
Sewer charges are based on actual current year water consumption as measured by water meters which are read four times per year. The sewer charges will consist of a "minimum sewer rate" for the 5,000 gallon allowance of water consumed in each billing period and a separate "excess sewer rate" for each 1,000 gallons of water consumed over the 5,000-gallon allowance for each billing period. All gallons of water consumed above the 5,000-gallon allowance will be deemed excess consumption and will be billed at the excess sewer rate.
