A. It shall be unlawful during the period commencing
May 15 of each year through September 30 of each year for any person
to ride a bicycle on the Boardwalk or its approaches during such times
as City Council, by way of resolution approved by the Mayor, from
time to time shall designate.

B. It shall be unlawful during the period commencing
May 15 of each year through September 30 of each year for any person
to use any wheeled device that primarily is used for recreational
purposes such as, by way of example, but not by way of limitation,
skateboards, roller skates, roller blades, scooters, go-carts or similar
items or devices upon the Boardwalk and its approaches at any time.

C. Pursuant to the authority contained in N.J.S.A. 39:4-10.1c(2),
neither bicycle operators nor bicycle passengers shall be required
to wear a helmet on the Boardwalk in the City of North Wildwood.

Dogs, cats and any other domestic animals shall
not be permitted upon the Boardwalk of the City of North Wildwood
at any time.

A. It shall be unlawful to permit merchandise or signs to be located
in such a fashion as to protrude more than one foot onto the Boardwalk
from a permitted store or stand from January 1 through Labor Day.
B. Merchandise and signs may be placed more than one foot onto the Boardwalk
from a permitted store or stand, including the center section of the
Boardwalk between the concrete tram car paths, from the day after
Labor Day through December 31. No merchandise or sign shall be placed
on or obstruct any concrete tram car path.
C. The permission outlined in Subsection
B may be temporarily revoked when deemed necessary by the Director of Public Safety, such as occasions including, but not limited to, the duration of any special event that has been approved by Mayor and Council authorizing the use of the Boardwalk.

It shall be unlawful for any individual or individuals
to carry and/or use any and all water guns which contain liquid substances
anywhere upon the Boardwalk in the City of North Wildwood.

Any person convicted of a violation of this
article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine not
to exceed $2,000, imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or community
service for not more than 90 days, or any combination thereof.

Except as hereinafter provided, it shall be
unlawful to operate any motor vehicle, of any type or description,
including but not limited to automobiles, trucks, buses, motorcycles,
motorbikes, minibikes, motor scooters and go-carts, on any of the
Boardwalk within the City limits of the City of North Wildwood.

A. Any person desiring to operate a motor vehicle on
the Boardwalk of this City shall make application for a license to
do so at the City of North Wildwood Police Department during regular
business hours only. The applicant shall present his motor vehicle
for inspection at the time and place designated by the Police Department,
and said vehicle must bear a current inspection sticker issued by
the state in which the vehicle is registered, if required for operation
on the highways of that state. The applicant shall also supply his
name, address, driver's license, vehicle registration, proof of motor
vehicle insurance and reason for the issuance of said permit. Permits
will be issued for a specific time period, which will be so designated
on the permit. All permits issued shall have designated thereon the
ramp which is to be used for access to the Boardwalk and the area
in which the vehicle will be permitted to travel on the Boardwalk.
No permits will be issued for the months of June, July and August
unless a dire emergency exists.
B. All permits shall be issued at the sole discretion
of the Chief of Police of the City of North Wildwood or his designee
or at the direction of the Director of Public Safety of the City of
North Wildwood. Any abuse of permit privileges will result in immediate
revocation of the same.
C. The fee for said permit or license shall be $10 per
day; however, a thirty-day permit or license may be obtained for a
fee of $25. Said fee shall be payable through the City of North Wildwood,
Police Department, upon the obtaining of the permit or license.
