It shall be unlawful to fire or discharge any firecracker, rocket, pistol,
rifle, cannon or other firearm anywhere within the City limits, without the
written permission of the City Council.
This prohibition shall not apply to discharge of firearms in or upon
any premises duly licensed as a pistol and/or rifle range when discharged
properly, in conformance with the rules and regulations of such range.

Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction
thereof, be punishable by a fine of not more than $1,250 or imprisonment for
a term not exceeding 90 days, or both.
