All barbershops located and doing business in the borough shall be open
to the public between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. every day except
Wednesday and Sunday.
A. Barbershops shall be closed all day on New Year's Day,
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas
Day. They shall be open six (6) full days during Easter week but shall be
closed on Easter Monday.
B. Exceptions.
(1) If a holiday herein designated falls on a Sunday, barbershops
shall be closed on the Monday immediately following such holiday.
(2) Barbershops shall remain open on the Wednesdays of the
weeks in which holidays herein designated occur.

Violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable by a
fine not exceeding twenty-five dollars ($25.) or imprisonment for a term not
exceeding ten (10) days.
