There is hereby created and established the office of Deputy Township Clerk of the Township of Wyckoff.
The Deputy Township Clerk shall be appointed by the Township Committee upon a majority vote thereof and shall hold office for a term of one year.
The Deputy Township Clerk shall receive an annual salary as provided by the Annual Salary Ordinance.[1]

The Deputy Township Clerk shall have all the powers and perform all the duties of the Township Clerk during such times and for such specific period as the Township Clerk shall be absent. Such Deputy shall assist the Township Clerk in the performance of his duties and perform such other duties and functions in connection with the office of Township Clerk as from time to time may be assigned and delegated to him by the Township Committee.
