There is hereby created the position of the Municipal Prosecutor of the Township of Wyckoff. The Municipal Prosecutor shall be an attorney at law of the State of New Jersey and shall be appointed by the Township Committee. The Municipal Prosecutor shall be under the supervision of the Attorney General of the State of New Jersey or the County Prosecutor, and his duties shall be to represent the State, County or municipality in any matter within the jurisdiction of the Municipal Court.
The term of office shall be for one year and shall expire on January 1 next following such appointment.

The salary of the Municipal Prosecutor shall be as provided in the Annual Salary Ordinance.[1]
