By acceptance of a permit and/or use of a public or Authority sewer, the owner and/or occupant of premises within the Township shall thereby be deemed to have agreed that the Township Engineer and other duly authorized employees of the Township bearing proper credentials and identification shall be permitted to enter his properties for the purposes of inspection, observation, measurement, sampling and testing in accordance with the provisions of this Part 1 of this chapter. The Township Engineer or his representative shall have no authority to inquire into any processes beyond that point having a direct bearing on the kind and source of discharge to sewers or waterways or facilities for waste treatment.
The Township Engineer and other duly authorized employees of the Township bearing proper credentials and identification shall be permitted to enter all private properties through which the Township holds a right-of-way or easement for the purposes of but not limited to construction, reconstruction, repair, maintenance or inspection of any portion of the sewage works lying within such right-of-way or easement. Any entry on such right-of-way or easement shall be done in accordance with the terms of any applicable right-of-way or easement agreement.
