[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Chosen Freeholders of Mercer County 12-12-2013 by Ord. No. 2013-26. Amendments noted where applicable.]
[Pursuant to P.L. 2020, c. 67, effective 1-1-2021, the Code of Mercer County has been amended to delete the term “Board of Chosen Freeholders” and replace it with the term “Board of County Commissioners.” In addition, the terms “Freeholder” and “Chosen Freeholder” have been deleted and replaced by the term “County Commissioner.”]
There is hereby established within the County of Mercer a Mercer County Insurance Fund Commission.
The Mercer County Insurance Fund Commission shall consist of three members as follows:
A. 
County Administrator.
B. 
County Director of Personnel.
C. 
County Risk Manager.
The County Counsel shall serve as Counsel to the Commission and shall be required to attend all meetings of the Commission.
Commissioners shall serve for a term of two years.
Vacancies in office of Fund Commissioner shall be filled for the unexpired term.
The appointment of each Fund Commissioner shall be effective immediately upon the effective date of this chapter.
The Fund Commissioners shall serve without compensation.
The Commission shall be governed by "The Mercer County Insurance Commission Fund" Rules and Regulations, which are hereby adopted.
