No person shall ride, drive or cause to be driven any motor vehicle or horse on the public beaches of the Town, except such vehicles on official business of the Town or vehicles lawfully using boat ramps within the Town.
No person or persons shall use the public beaches for sleeping purposes between the hours of 12:00 midnight to 6:00 a.m.

No person shall launch or use a surfboard or other similar device on any beach under the control of the Town or in any waters within 200 yards of such beach during the period from June 10 to September 10 of any year; except for the purpose of saving life or except that such beach or area of beach be designated for surfboarding by the Select Board.
Any person violating any provision of this article shall be liable to a fine of not more than $20 for each offense.

The Select Board are authorized to adopt reasonable plans, rules and regulations regarding the maintenance, use and care of the beaches and dunes.
A violation of said plans, rules and regulations shall constitute a violation of this code provisions, and whoever violates the same shall be subject to a fine of up to $300 or such maximum fine as may be otherwise provided by law, whichever is the greater. A violation of said plans, rules and regulations and this Code provision may also be penalized by a noncriminal disposition as provided for in M.G.L. Chapter 40, section 21D, as the same now is or may hereafter be amended or supplemented and as provided for under Chapter 1 of this Code. Each days violations shall constitute a separate violation.
