A. 
No person shall engage in the business of transporting for hire goods, wares, furniture or rubbish as herein specified without obtaining a license or licenses therefor.
B. 
The Select Board Members may license suitable persons or corporations to set up and use job and express wagons for the transportation for hire of goods, wares, furniture or rubbish within the Town. All persons so engaged in the Town shall take out such number of job or express wagon licenses as will equal the greatest number of such vehicles used at any one time within the Town by such person or corporation during the year for which the license is issued. Such licenses shall expire on April 30 of each year and may be revoked at the pleasure of the Select Board.

The fee for such license shall be $10 for each vehicle and shall be payable to the Town Treasurer. No license shall be issued until the fee is paid.
Any person licensed under the provisions of this chapter shall cause his name and the number of his license to be printed or placed in plain large words or numbers in a conspicuous place on the outside of each vehicle used under said license.
Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a penalty of not more than $20 for each offense.
