The Building Inspector is hereby empowered to issue permits
for electrical installations to licensed electrical contractors and
to make inspections of electrical work.
The Building Inspector is empowered and authorized to deputize in any instance any regular inspector of the New York Board of Fire Underwriters to inspect any electrical installation such as is referred to in § 22-23 hereof and to report on the same to the Building Inspector, provided such inspection and report is without compensation from the Town.
The Building Inspector or Fire Department is hereby empowered
to disconnect any electrical current, after notification to the owner,
or his recognized agent, or the occupant, when the current, in his
or its opinion, is dangerous to life or property or when it may interfere
with work of the Fire Department.
