Editor's Note: This ordinance also provided for the salary of the Violations Clerk, which shall be set forth in the current Salary Ordinance of the city.
There shall be created and established the position of Violations Clerk in the City of Orange Township, who, under direction, has charge of and performs the most difficult and responsible work involved in collecting fees and traffic violations in Municipal Courts and does related work as required.
The minimum qualifications of the person appointed Violations Clerk pursuant to the provisions of this Article shall be as follows: ability to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position; two (2) years of clerical experience involving maintenance of accounts; thorough knowledge of modern office methods, practices and equipment and of performing tasks involved in the keeping of financial and/or other records of a mathematical nature; the ability to organize assigned work and develop effective work methods, to give suitable assignments and instructions to individuals and groups and to supervise the maintenance of suitable records and files, including those of a financial and/ or mathematical nature; and good health and freedom from disabling physical and mental defects which would impair the proper performance of the required duties or which might endanger the health and safety of oneself or others.
