Beginning with the fiscal year 1984, the office of Elected Auditor
for the Borough of Cheswick is hereby abolished.
Pursuant to Section 1005, Subsection 7, of the Borough Code,
8 Pa.C.S.A. § 1005(7), the Council of the Borough of Cheswick
hereby elects to appoint an independent auditor who shall be a certified
public accountant registered in Pennsylvania, a firm of certified
public accountants so registered or a competent public accountant
or a competent firm of public accountants to make an independent examination
of the accounting records of the Borough of Cheswick for the fiscal
year 1984 and every fiscal year thereafter. The independent auditor
shall perform the independent examination of the accounting records
of the Borough pursuant to Chapter 10, Subchapter C, of the Borough
Code, 8 Pa.C.S.A. § 1059.11.
